The entrepreneur: a person desperate to learn
Whenever I hear people trying to find the fundamental key problem in creating businesses. I hear ideas like cash money, knowledge, networking, dedication and sacrifice, marital status, government, taxes and so forth.
I draw much more attention to what listening tests an entrepreneur fails. Here the list is longer and the euphoria with which each person identifies this “failure” is even more intense.
Remember that everything in life is not a magic solution, especially if there is a continuous search and constant effort to correct the course and be able to achieve what we set out.
So afraid that we have to learn where we provide education. And that is the difference between learning and education is great.
An entrepreneur is a person desperate to learn, rather than education. Learning is part of every one of us, motivated by curiosity associated with our definition of being human.
A child very quickly able to learn everything at your fingertips. But receives education to complement that which has no fence, and in this way to create a “standard” of communication, relationship, thought and generally the “standard” to belong to a society.
We can see that education is the result of the creation of a sequence of knowledge resulting from previous experience, documented in, say, an “index” which is taught in a “mandatory” for all people to become part of the society. That is why the form and content dela education depends on the history, customs, ideologies and worldviews of the society in which it finds itself. Together with any other complexly structured result of previous experience, it is difficult to change and adapt to new realities, technologies and thoughts. Looked at another formal education is a result of the gradual addition of concepts and ideas “from all to all.”
Quite the opposite is true learning. Learning is guided by our impetuous curiosity to understand why? Individual is an internal process by which each person, through trial and error, observing, analyzing, theorizing, and concludes verified models of reality. In this way learning becomes an interactive process, where a constant exchange of information between us and our environment. Result is that there is greater retention when learning something.
It is well known the story about the fire (which comes in an attractive box of matches or a lighter) when we teach a child about their danger. We can tell you how many times we should not do, however it is not until the child learns that the fire actually burns really integrate that into their model of reality.
However, the learning path is riddled with errors and missed “apparent” time. I say “apparent” because often something that we learned that in a moment it seems a waste of time eventually becomes the answer to our prayers. But facing our fear of being wrong to “invest” time on something that is “not helpful” makes everyone want to hear instead of seeking education learning. Chelates since education is a structured sequence of knowledge, and is structured by mind “more skilled” in our society, we think there is less chance of error, that the face alone the decisions on “what should I seek knowledge to improve my life.”
Just at this point is that we understand why an entrepreneur achieve what others do not. This way of dealing with the fear of making mistakes (or fear of failure) to the entrepreneur set a course for himself and trust to achieve despite being undermined by problems, failures and mistakes. This confidence to hear his own voice guides and motivates, but still face drops, meaning that every error or failure resulting in unaprender becoming apparent “waste of time” in a learning time. ” Achieving see where everyone sees a waste of time, by creating a market capitalization of knowledge.
Our society is “arrested” for fear of error. Unfortunately our educational model is no other way to motivate students to be educated rather than using the threat of getting a “bad mark” on exams or grading methods. And that is why our education is reactive, pushing instructional levels to receive information (information that they do not apply and often do not understand why the need to receive). Instead of seeking to generate curiosity for knowledge, we seek to create fear for the “bad mark” is terror to error.
The result is that people are afraid to make mistakes and not only on safe roads looking to grow. How is it possible then to create a different result that we always get?
So that entrepreneurs seek to generate confidence about themselves, about their ideas and the way to go, with the clear idea of the goal he has defined trusting stand as often as necessary and making decisions towards reaching that goal in spite others tell you it is wrong. This is because the entrepreneur fails to see causal relationships that others do not and it is these relationships that give you the confidence to achieve the goal following a different path than the rest take. But is not however the goal of an entrepreneur different from the rest? Is not that entrepreneurs find risk and have freedom when people seek security and a stable work schedule? Is not that the entrepreneur is determined to be your own guide when people seek to be employed in businesses where “guide” their days and hours?
If there is a very basic difference between an entrepreneur and a traditional person, should not be so different objectives and in turn to follow different paths? And if the roads are different, how is it possible that those looking for a purpose different from yours, with no experience in the path of entrepreneurship can tell if you’re right or not?
